Kawerau hosts its own storage war

KAWERAU is hosting its own “Storage Wars” tomorrow.
Kawerau Secure Storage is auctioning off the contents of five sheds at its complex in Paora Street.
It is the business’ second auction, which is conducted in a similar way to the popular United States reality show where professional buyers bid for the contents of storage lockers based on a five-minute inspection of what they can see from the door when it is open.
Bidders at the Kawerau auction must register beforehand, with registrations taken from 10am.
The door of the respective lockers will be lifted for five minutes for viewing and the successful bidder will have a week to remove all their treasures.
