About Kawerau.org.nz | Kawerau, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand

Kawerau.org is backed by Kawerau Enterprise Agency Incorporated, with the aim of promoting the district as a great place to visit, work and live.

KEA has been around since 1985.  It was set up at a time when Tasman Pulp and Paper Co. was drastically reducing its work force. As part of Tasman’s commitment to the Kawerau community, it encouraged the establishment of a new organisation with a goal to support and to improve the economic well-being of Kawerau.
