Kawerau hall sound systems

A NEW sound system for Kawerau’s Concert Chamber was installed last month and another for the town hall is close behind.
Kawerau District Council received an update on progress at the regulatory and services committee meeting on Tuesday.
Operations and services manager Tom McDowall said the tender for the town hall system and hearing loops for both buildings was still out for pricing.
Mr McDowall said an application to the Eastern Bay Energy Trust for funding would be considered in April, which would delay installation of the town hall system and hearing loops until May.
