Heritage in action at Waterwheel

5 June 2015

THE Waterwheel Historic Trust will be running a “Live Day” on Saturday at their collections site on Manukorihi Drive, alongside the traffic lights coming into Kawerau.

There will be old engines powering an 1880 chaff cutter, shearing machines, a 1920 concrete mixer, tractor-pulled wagon rides and sausage sizzle.

This is an opportunity for people to see their heritage in action.

The open day runs from 10.30am to 3pm.
